Laura CROCETTI, MD, PhD, EBIR, is an Associate Professor of Radiology at the Division of Interventional Radiology at the University of Pisa.
Prof. Crocetti teaches Radiology at the University of Pisa in the Degree Course of Dentistry and in the Bachelors of Science of Sport Science and Imaging Science and is Director of the Master in Vascular Interventional Radiology. She is Deputy Chairperson of the EBIR Committee, which is in charge of organizing the European Board of Interventional Radiology, and a member of the Online Education Committee of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE).

Prof.CROCETTI’s research focuses on Interventional Oncology. Her interests include ablative therapies for solid tumors in multiple organs (liver, kidney, thyroid, lung, soft tissues) as well as intra-arterial therapy for liver tumors.

Prof. CROCETTI has been chairperson of the CIRSE Standard of Practice Committee for the year 2020-2022. She is Chairperson of ECIO (European Conference on Interventional Oncology) for the years 2024 and 2025. She is member of the Oncology Alliance Subcommittee of CIRSE and member of the IASIOS (International Accreditation System for Interventional Oncology Services) Committee, the global accreditation system for Interventional Oncology. Prof. CROCETTI is Section Editor for the journal Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology has authored or co-authored 76 articles in peer reviewed international journals.
